Come on, there were only 6 female characters altogether in the GI Joe series (on the Joe team: mostly Scarlett and Lady Jaye, and to a lesser degree Cover Girl and Jinx, who appeared in the movie; on the Cobra side: Baroness and Zarana)... I have a bad feeling about the GI Joe movie... And upon looking at Scarlett's costume above, I couldn't help but draw comparisons with the X-Men movies' costume design. In any case, if they're following any canon, it won't be the comic books for sure (in the comic book version, Scarlett is with Snake-Eyes, not Duke, and they're Vietnam War vets...). Wait. a. minute. Christopher Eccleston is playing Destro????? I’m still disappointed-slash-pissed off that the Joe team won’t bother to include Lady Jaye. Scarlett was one of my earliest heroes. I don't think I'll be able to bear watching that movie. Her costume is appalling. The vacant expression on the actress' face is appalling.
