		<description>Great profile, as usual! One of my favorite parts of the book is when Cordelia realizes she and Aral have to do something about their eyes. I will always remember that scene because despite its subtlety, the sexual and emotional tension is so powerful.

Cordelia has such a strength of character. I also was really intrigued by her relationship with Bothar (and Aral&#039;s insight about it). (being vague here deliberately to avoid spoilers).

It&#039;s also amazing that Bujold &quot;set the standard&quot; as you put it on balancing Romance and SF when that kind of genre blending was even more niche than it is now. I&#039;m so thrilled she wrote it and that the publisher had the vision to take a chance on it. Bet they aren&#039;t sorry now!</description>
