Better Than Ezra, Absolutely Still

After a weekend vacation and dealing with the hackers this week I’m just now getting back on track. Better Than Ezra has a new single out called Absolutely Still and I can’t wait for rest of the album to come out.

Metamorphosis, Philip Glass

Below is piano player Branka Parlic performing Philip Glass’ “Metamorphosis.” This haunting song appears in the Battlestar Galactica episode “Valley of Darkness” when Kara Thrace plays a recording of it in her abandoned Caprica apartment. She tells Helo that the player in the recording is her father. Later, Kara dons a paint-splattered old military jacket that in the episode podcast creator Ronald Moore says belonged to Kara’s father.

This Friday’s episode is “Someone to Watch Over Me” where Kara supposedly meets an unknown piano player. Is this character Kara’s father? Will we get to hear “Metamorphosis” again?
